Medication

Medication should only be taken to school when essential; ie. where it would be detrimental to a child’s health if medicines were not administered during the school day. It is helpful, where clinically appropriate, if medicines are prescribed in dose frequencies which enable them to be taken out of school hours. While the school will assist in certain circumstances in the administration of medication, parents/carers have the prime responsibility for their child’s health. If your child requires has prescribed medication, to be administered during school hours, please contact the office to complete a medical form.
