London Explorers

This half-term we have been working for Big Pete Enterprises as Planners. He asked us to research both London and Paris to see which would be the most suitable location for a new village.

After lots of research into, for example, physical features, human features etc, we decided that London was the most suitable place to build a new village.

We had great fun locating both, using a city where they 'fit' in the world. Continents,  cities, towns and explored.

As if all of this wasn't enough, we had an awesome 3 day residential to London. We managed to 'pack in' so many fun things. We travelled by train to London Kings Cross, went on a guided tour to see lots of the sites of London, e.g. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey and loads more. On our first day there, we had an amazing tour around the Houses of Parliament and were lucky enough to meet Ian Lavery, our local MP. We watched Aladdin at the theatre, which we all LOVED and then we took part in a workshop led by an actor who performs in musicals. We also found out lots at the Imperial War Museum.
