Investigating materials!

This half term Beech Class have been working for The Investigation Bureau. Commissioner Fox loves an investigation and finding out about new things! He got in touch with us and asked us to complete some important jobs for him.

Firstly we had to find out all about materials and their properties.

Then we had to solve some riddles about materials by reading the clues.

We learned the names for different materials, what they felt like and whether they were man mad then sent this information to Commissioner Fox.

Other tasks included  counting in 2s, 5s and 10s for the Finance department, reading and writing stories traditional stories and writing lists, labels and captions.

One of our final tasks was to use our construction knowledge to build a Lego Tower. We worked as a group and followed the instructions.

Commissioner Fox loved our investigation skills!
