Crazy Crankpot!

This half term Beech Class have been working for Professor Crankpot. Professor Crankpot is always forgetting things and this half term was no different. He came to us with a problem regarding healthy lifestyles. He asked us to help him out at the local hospital with patients who were poorly because of an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. To help, we researched what it meant to be healthy and then looked at our own diet and lifestyle. We learned about the food groups and how to make every meal we eat as healthy as possible. We designed, made and evaluated our own healthy wrap and wrote instructions on how to make it to send to the hospital for the patients. We collected data on favourite fruit and vegetables in a tally and then created block graphs and pictograms to show what we had found out. We created a dance routine for patients to copy as a form of exercise. We made sure we took part in at least 5mins of exercise every day in the form of yoga in the classroom.
